Day 1 - Diani to Salt Lick Safari Lodge and Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary
Your adventure begins at 6:00am when your private safari guide picks you up from your hotel in Mombasa. From 6:00am to 11:00am, enjoy a scenic drive along the Mombasa–Nairobi Highway, passing through the beautiful Kenyan countryside with views of the Taita Hills on the horizon. At around 11:00am, you will arrive at the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary gate, where your guide will handle the paperwork before you begin your first game drive through the sanctuary.At 1:00pm, head to the nearby Taita Hills Safari Resort and Spa for a delicious lunch. Check in and transfer to the iconic Salt Lick Safari Lodge at 2:00pm. You will have some time to settle into your unique room, elevated on stilts and offering incredible views of the floodlit waterhole below. From 4:00pm to 6:00pm, embark on an evening game drive before returning to the lodge.Dinner is served at 7:30pm at the lodge restaurant, where you can enjoy a hearty buffet and the tranquil atmosphere of the African bush.
Day 2 - Salt Lick Safari Lodge to Ngutuni and Return to Diani
Wake up early to enjoy a morning game drive and the chance to witness a stunning African sunrise. Afterward, return to the lodge for breakfast and check out before driving to Ngutuni Wildlife Conservancy. Arrive at Ngutuni Lodge in the late morning and enjoy a relaxing lunch surrounded by beautiful scenery. In the afternoon, head out for your final game drive in Ngutuni, taking in the last moments of your safari adventure.Later in the day, begin your drive back to Diani, arriving at your hotel between 3:00pm and 4:00pm.
